Lead Time
Almost all of the furniture supplied by The Contract Chair Company is made-to-order in our partner factories across the UK and EU. This gives our customers ultimate flexibility in terms of design choice, but inevitably leads to time consuming logistical processes. The Contract Chair Company takes this hassle away from customers by dealing with all associated processes in-house within the estimated lead time.
Lead time estimates are calculated individually for each product. Due to the fact that typically each order is budgeted for with one consolidated delivery to the customer, the product with longest lead time dictates the overall lead time of the project.
A breakdown of the lead time involved in a getting a typical product from the stage of a confirmed order to being delivered to customer is outlined below.

Most furniture factories are in continental Europe; Brexit has meant the re-introduction of customs checks.
Production
Factories schedule production once raw materials have been obtained, not before upholstery fabric has been received.
Finished furniture is then packaged and associated export documentation is completed.
